Feeling better…

I really am feeling better the last few weeks since my cardiologist (Dr. God) took me off one med and put me on another.  His reason was that my pulse rate was very low, in the upper 30 to mid 40s. He told me that I could pass out at any time when it was that low.  He also talked some about a pacemaker.

At the time I asked the doctor what I should do if my blood pressure started going up with this newer, lower dose med.  He told me that my BP/Kidney specialist would have to figure that out.

I am not sure, but I think there is no love lost between those 2 doctors.  I called and spoke to my BP doctor’s nurse and the doctor asked me to keep a detailed chart.  I was to take my blood pressure each day and bring to show him when I see him on the 13th which is one week from today.

The results have been surprising.  My blood pressure is not really low but it has been steadily moderate.  My pulse rate has increased to the upper 50s to mid 50s.  I have felt so much better since I got some of the med out of my system.

I am back exercising 1/2 hour most days.  I am hoping my BP doctor will not give me any more meds or increase the ones I am taking.

  5. A wise kidney doctor told us that the less meds the better..so maybe that is working for you too. I sure hope you keep up the good news and the good numbers. Love to you always...

  7. Boy do I hear from where you are coming!!!!! We nearly parallel each other meds and all. and way too many doctors and meds. Doctors, and other medical personnel seem to not communicate except curtly when forced to. I was in the medical field 36 years and now as a senior citizen. I have yet to figure it out.
