Back to the present…

tonight, and referencing the title of my blog.

I do love living!  I miss Jim every day, trying to remember the happy times and forgetting the last sad year of his life.

I am going through a really tough time right now, health wise.  I spent Friday till Saturday afternoon in the hospital.  An elevated blood pressure and chest pains I thought might be a heart attack.  After numerous EKGs and a treadmill stress test, it was determined to be my stomach.
I have had stomach problems since my first child was born.  I developed my first ulcer then and I have been plagued with problems since then.

My blood pressure is still elevated and my cardiologist changed my meds all around.  So far they haven’t helped much.

I see my primary care physician on the 21st and my kidney/BP specialist on the 26th.  I guess I will muddle through till then.  beth

  3. Hugs and prayers they get everything under control. So happy it wasn't your heart. I was relieved when my trip to the hospital a few years ago was the gall bladder and not the heart. It sure is scary.

  8. Put your left hand on your right shoulder then put your left hand on your right shoulder ... now squeeze hard! This is a hug from me to you. Just know Beth, that there is so much more to you than what you are going through. To get up in the morning only to know that you will have to face another obstacle takes strength and you are one heck of a tough gal. Thoughts are always with you.... :)
